Términos de uso y aviso legal

Las reglas básicas para usar este sitio, el alcance de sus contenidos financieros y cómo tratamos la propiedad intelectual y las imágenes.

1. Quiénes somos y qué es este sitio

Este es el sitio web del Finance and Investment Club (FIC), club estudiantil de la Universidad Icesi (Cali, Colombia) y capítulo de IFSA Network. Informa sobre el club, sus áreas, eventos, visitas, podcast y publicaciones. El sitio refleja las actividades del club y no representa posiciones oficiales de la Universidad Icesi ni de IFSA Network, salvo que se indique expresamente.

Al usar el sitio aceptas estos términos. Si no estás de acuerdo, por favor no lo uses.

2. Contenido financiero: solo con fines educativos

Los informes, revisiones de mercado, research briefs, episodios del podcast y demás contenidos son elaborados por estudiantes con fines exclusivamente educativos y académicos.

  • No constituyen asesoría de inversión, recomendación de compra o venta de valores, ni oferta o solicitud de ningún producto financiero.
  • No prometemos ni garantizamos rentabilidades. Rentabilidades pasadas no aseguran resultados futuros, y toda inversión implica riesgo.
  • Las cifras provienen de fuentes públicas y pueden contener errores u omisiones o quedar desactualizadas. Verifica siempre la fuente original.
  • Toda decisión de inversión es responsabilidad exclusiva de quien la toma. Consulta a un profesional autorizado antes de invertir.

3. Propiedad intelectual

  • Los nombres, logos y marcas FIC, IFSA, Universidad Icesi y los de terceros que aparecen en el sitio pertenecen a sus titulares y se usan solo para identificarlos.
  • Los informes y textos son obra de sus autores (miembros del club) y están protegidos por la Ley 23 de 1982 y normas concordantes.
  • Puedes citar fragmentos con fines académicos o informativos mencionando al FIC y la fuente. No puedes copiar, modificar ni usar los contenidos con fines comerciales sin autorización escrita.

4. Fotos y videos

Las imágenes y videos del sitio muestran actividades del club. Se publican con la autorización de las personas que aparecen o en eventos de carácter público en los que se informó de la toma de imágenes. Si apareces y quieres que retiremos una foto o un video, escribe a fic@u.icesi.edu.co y lo retiramos en un plazo razonable.

5. Convocatorias y formulario

Dejar tus datos en el formulario Únete solo registra tu interés: no garantiza la admisión ni crea ningún vínculo con el club. El tratamiento de tus datos se rige por la Política de privacidad y tratamiento de datos personales.

6. Enlaces a otros sitios

El sitio incluye enlaces a plataformas externas (Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify, la Universidad Icesi y otras). No controlamos su contenido ni sus políticas y no somos responsables por ellos.

7. Uso adecuado y responsabilidad

  • No uses el sitio para actividades ilícitas, para intentar vulnerar su seguridad ni para extraer información de forma masiva y automatizada.
  • Procuramos que el sitio funcione y que su información sea correcta, pero lo ofrecemos tal cual, sin garantía de disponibilidad continua ni de ausencia de errores. En lo permitido por la ley, el FIC no responde por daños derivados del uso del sitio o de la confianza en sus contenidos.

8. Ley aplicable y cambios

Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de la República de Colombia. Cualquier controversia se someterá a los jueces competentes de Cali. Podemos actualizar estos términos; la versión vigente es la publicada aquí, con su fecha (17 de octubre de 2026).

This is the website of the Finance and Investment Club (FIC), a student club of Universidad Icesi (Cali, Colombia) and chapter of IFSA Network. It provides information about the club, its areas, events, visits, podcast and publications. The site reflects the club's activities and does not represent official positions of Universidad Icesi or IFSA Network, unless expressly stated.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. Financial content: for educational purposes only

Reports, market reviews, research briefs, podcast episodes and other content are produced by students for exclusively educational and academic purposes.

  • They do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell securities, or an offer or solicitation of any financial product.
  • We do not promise or guarantee returns. Past returns do not ensure future results, and all investing involves risk.
  • Figures come from public sources and may contain errors or omissions or be out of date. Always check the original source.
  • Every investment decision is the sole responsibility of the person making it. Consult an authorized professional before investing.

3. Intellectual property

  • The names, logos and trademarks FIC, IFSA, Universidad Icesi and those of third parties shown on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
  • Reports and texts are the work of their authors (club members) and are protected by Law 23 of 1982 and related rules.
  • You may quote excerpts for academic or informational purposes, citing the FIC and the source. You may not copy, modify or use the content for commercial purposes without written authorization.

4. Photos and videos

Images and videos on the site show club activities. They are published with the authorization of the people who appear in them, or from public events where people were told that images would be taken. If you appear and want a photo or video removed, write to fic@u.icesi.edu.co and we will remove it within a reasonable time.

5. Admissions calls and form

Leaving your details in the Join us form only registers your interest: it does not guarantee admission or create any relationship with the club. The processing of your data is governed by the Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy.

6. Links to other sites

The site includes links to external platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify, Universidad Icesi and others). We do not control their content or policies and are not responsible for them.

7. Proper use and liability

  • Do not use the site for unlawful activities, to try to breach its security or to extract information in bulk through automated means.
  • We try to keep the site running and its information correct, but we provide it as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability or absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, the FIC is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.

8. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Cali. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here, with its date (October 17, 2026).
